Extended Day Care

Extended Daycare is a service offered to West Side School families. Any student attending West Side School, grades K-6th, may enroll in daycare. During this after-school program, your child will be provided a nutritional snack and a variety of enrichment opportunities, including: outdoor play, crafts, activities, and homework/academic support.

Daycare begins at school dismissal time.

• 11:50 a.m. for kindergarteners
• 2:30 p.m. for 1st-3rd graders
• 2:40 p.m. for 4th-6th graders.
  

Extended daycare is provided on most minimum days. For 1st-6th graders, daycare begins at 12 noon on minimum days and 1:40 on Wednesdays. We close at 6 p.m. everyday. Students not picked up by this time will be charged $1 per minute. Our calendar coincides with the school calendar, except there is no daycare on the last school day before Winter Break and the very last day of school.

There is no daycare when school is not in session.

Rates range from $3 to $6 per hour (depending on the number of hours per week).

Please provide at least 24 hours notice for drop-ins.
