Sixth Grade - Yosemite Institute

The sixth grade attends the Yosemite Institute outdoor education programs in Yosemite National Park. Featuring experiential and inquiry-based experiences, the program creates memorable and rewarding life experiences for students. Programs are customized by the Institute to fit the needs of West Side sixth graders and are aligned with state education standards. Benefits include: Increased engagement in learning, enhanced comprehension of environmental issues, improved group dynamics, and renewed curiosity about home communities and the world at large.
