Sonoma County Schools Plan for Distance Learning To Continue Through the End of the School Year

To reduce the spread of COVID 19, Governor Gavin Newsom and State Superintendent Tony Thurmond advised Wednesday that school classes should continue to take place via distance learning rather than on school campuses throughout the remainder of the 2019-20 school year in California. Sonoma County schools are responding to this guidance by working hard to ensure quality learning opportunities for students via distance learning through the end of the 2019-20 school year.

School Playgrounds & Parks Closed

This is a friendly reminder that all school playgrounds and public parks are closed under the Governor’s current executive order. West Side has posted notices on campus. All playgrounds and open-access spaces are closed to the public until further notice.

Distance Learning Update March 23, 2020

Teachers returned today and planned distance learning activities. On Tuesday, teachers will return to continue printing and organizing packets. Delivery of learning packets will now be on Wednesday, March 25th, 2020. Thank you for your patience as materials are organized.

ABC Online Learning-Free to West Side

We are providing you with free at-home access to online learning programs ABCmouse, Adventure Academy, and ReadingIQ. This is an OPTIONAL resource. Thousands of digital learning activities for preschool, pre-k, elementary, and middle school students.
All three programs can be used on computers, tablets, and smartphones, and you can add up to three children per account. Click for more information!
