Please provide your child with a healthy, nutritious morning snack and lunch each day. Please limit the sugar, and do not send candy or sodas. Good nutrition plays an important role in brain and body development and affects the learning process.

Many students have various food restrictions and/or allergies, and each classroom will communicate food needs to families. Thank you for your cooperation.

We would like to eliminate or reduce the use of plastic baggies, as they blow away and end up all over school and the neighborhood. Glass containers are not allowed at school for safety reasons.

School Lunch Program

The United States Department of Agriculture announced that school lunches would be free to all students again this year.  West Side School contracts with Healdsburg Unified School District who prepares the lunches and we serve them to our students.
