After School Pick Up Reminders
-Please keep the striped student loading zone clear.
-Have car seats on the right side for easy student loading. If you need to get out of your car, please park to avoid holding up the traffic behind you.
-If you are picking up siblings in upper grade classes (4th-6th), please arrive at 2:50 instead of 2:40. Younger siblings will wait with our staff until their upper grade siblings are dismissed and joins them. This way you won't have to wait in line from 2:40-2:50.And, by not coming too early and waiting in line, the lower grade pick up traffic will go faster!
Measure F Bond Project Update:
Demolition of the old water tank and installation of the new underground tank supports is beginning this week and continuing into November. The impact to our campus will be minimal with the temporary loss of the parking spaces on the North side near the lower grade playground, beginning this Wednesday, September 10th. The construction equipment will be stored there while the work is being done. The drilling will go through November and the parking places will be occupied most of the project since the new PG&E trenching runs right through that area as well. At this time, the earliest the parking spots can be used again will be late spring early summer.

Current COVID-19 guidelines for California public schools in 2025
As of August 22, 2025, most of the specific COVID-19 protocols that were mandated in California public schools have expired. The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and California Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal/OSHA) have shifted towards a more generalized approach to preventing the spread of respiratory viruses, including COVID-19.
Here's a summary of the key guidelines currently in place:
1. Recommendations for individuals with symptoms or positive test results:
Students and staff with symptoms or a positive test are advised to stay home until fever-free for 24 hours without medication and with improving symptoms. If positive, masking around others indoors for 10 days is recommended, but isolation can end sooner with two negative tests a day apart.
2. Preventionstrategies:
Prevention strategies include recommending COVID-19 and flu vaccinations, optimizing indoor air quality through ventilation and filtration, and supporting individuals who choose to wear masks. Hand hygiene and routine cleaning are also recommended.
3. Testing:
Testing is recommended when symptomatic or after high-risk activities. Families are encouraged to have at-home tests available. We have FREE tests in the office if you need any.
