New and Returning Students must complete the SchoolWise online Enrollment at westside.schoolwise.com between April 15th and May 1, 2025.

Kindergarten Parent Tour and Observation (Dates in January TBD)
West Side hosts classroom observations and tours for incoming Kindergarten parents in January.  As the dates are scheduled, additional information including how to sign up, will be posted. Time slots are 8:30am-9:00am or 9:15am-9:45am. We look forward to meeting you and showing off West Side’s excellent educational experience! 

NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT PROCESS  ~  KINDERGARTEN
Your child must turn five by September 1st, to enroll in Kindergarten.* In-district, returning and sibling students have priority registration.
Out-of-district students Complete the West Side - New Student - Enrollment Interest Form due by February 1st, to be entered into the Kindergarten Lottery. Inter-district Transfer Request Forms English   Spanish  
Prior to the Board Meeting out-of-district Kindergarten families, who submitted an "New Student-Enrollment Interest Form" will be sent an email confirmation with a "letter" for the Lottery. (Be sure to add [email protected] to your contact list, or the email may go directly to your trash or spam folder.)
During the February (2026) Board Meeting the out-of-district Kindergarten Lottery will be held. Letters will be drawn at random, to fill the available openings in the 2026-27 Kindergarten class. After the Board Meeting you will receive an email offering placement or that you are on the waitlist. Those  offered placement will have 2 days to accept. We will continue this process until the class is filled.

NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT PROCESS  ~  1st - 6th Grades
Most of our students continue through Sixth grade but occasionally we do have openings.  If you want to be added to the 2025-26 Grade Wait-List, please complete the West Side Enrollment Interest Form. If a spot opens up we will contact you. 
NEW STUDENTS - OUT-OF-DISTRICT
If you live outside West Side school district boundaries and your student is offered placement for the 2025-26 School Year, you will need to submit an Inter-district Transfer Request through your district of residence. This is not done until placement is confirmed.
